Mung Bean Sprouts side dish (sukju namul)

This is one of the typical side dishes with Korean meals. It balances out the spicy and heavy meat dishes.

Ingredients

 100g Mung bean sprouts

1 tbsp soy sauce or soy sauce substitute

1 tbsp garlic minced

1 tbsp sesame oil

1 tbsp sesame seeds dry roasted

2 tbsp green onion finely chopped

Instructions

Heat a pot of water. Rinse bean sprouts 3 times. Add the bean sprouts to the pot and cook for 5 minutes or until soft. Drain water put into a bowl.
Mix it with minced garlic,  sesame oil, soy sauce, sesame seeds and green onion.

Serving

Serve in a share dish for the table or individual side dishes.
